If you run a business, have you ever worked with other local businesses in order to trade off employees with one another? I think it would be cool to be able to ask some of your employees to help another business out. Of course it would require pay, but I think if the business and work are similar enough, it could work right? What do you think? Would you ever do something like this?

It is awesome to do that, I was "traded" as an employee when my boss got no much work at one time. He sent me with his friend for a couple of weeks then I returned when my boss got more jobs. What I saw on those two guys was awesome. Sometimes one of them got a big contract and the two teams worked together where the urgency was needed to fulfill their clients.

Well, I have been "traded" once, but as an employer, I have never traded my employees. When I was traded, my boss sent me to higher paying opportunities (because he could not pay more to me) and and allowed me to divide my time between two jobs.
