This is true but I feel like I would have wasted less time and been better prepared with more realistic expectations if that makes sense. I shot higher and worked on things that I didn't need to focus on as much.

Definetly I agree with you, not only business and online jobs but in every aspect of life the first steps would be difficult but when you learned everything could change.
That's completely True, if you are starting up a business or anything for the first time is going to be a slow process, remember you are not trying to force it, it's a gradual process.

I think it's true that starting out is going to be a slow process. But I also think that if you're willing to put in the work, then it will be worth it. There are two reasons why I think this. First of all, the most successful people in any field are those who have had to work really hard for everything they have achieved. If you want to become a professional athlete but aren't willing to put in hours of practice every day and night, you might not make it. The same goes for being an entrepreneur or working as an executive assistant: if you're not prepared to work hard every single day, then chances are good that someone else will pass you by.
The second reason why I believe starting out is going to be a slow process is that there's nothing wrong with taking your time when starting out—in fact, I would say it's better than trying too hard too soon! If you take your time and learn everything there is to know about the industry before diving in head first, you'll be ready for your big break (and believe me, there will be one).
One thing I know is that in everything it requires skills, consistency and time. Once one dedicate his time towards making money online and not lazy he will make considerable amount of money.
