is it possible for a business to survive after owners death?
I think its possible for a business to survive after the owner died , but I have seen a lot of business collapse shortly after the death of the owner simply because those who inherited the business are after money and not the well being of the company.

Yes is possible if every arrangement has been made to hand over the business to someone who can manage, I don't see any big issue there.
