Is it important to evaluate performance of a Manager?

Yes it is very important to mean the performance of staff If not for another reason but for the growth of the company,this will help workers to know their weekpoint and how to improve on it.
 
Yes everyone must be evaluated. Most especially the managers. Managers are if not one of the most important personnel in business, they must do well for everything to progress
Yes I believe the spotlight during evaluation should really be on the Manager. They are the ones in charge and should be ready to take responsibility for the successes and losses recorded by the business organization.

An incompetent manager would want to excuse himself/herself from being evaluated they always believe they don't have faults. I have experienced such managers
 
We have individual performances difference in The business world and since its the work of a manager to evaluate the performance of the staff, its also important to access the performance of a manager through evaluation.
Personally, it is important to measure individual employee’s performance. Without measuring performance the management can’t make necessary developmental improvements that are needed. To achieve the aim of the business, the management must be able to make changes that will have positive effect on the business.

Yeah it's a proper means of checking the effectiveness of the manager in his participation in the business , because most managers are contributing less to the business and checking the viability is better

The purpose of evaluation is to provide a timely result for how well or otherwise its been which is why it's important to evaluate managers to know how well or otherwise they have performed in that period.

That is very true,because the performance of the manager will go a long way to show in the operation of the job schedule he is been given,and that in itself is an accessment if set goals over a period of time is been meet.
 
This is very important because it will help you to know if the manager is making progress in the business or not. You can't just be employing someone to start managing your business without taking your time to check if they are making progress or not.

Yes of course, it's very important that you evaluate everyone that's working for you and determine their productivity. It's the only way to know who's more committed to working for you and know who to lay off if there's need for it.

It's utmost importance to measure your employees performance not just only the manager but all the employees in other to see their progress and what they are lacking and what they need to add upon for the betterment of themselves and the company.
In every organisation that wants growth,one of the things they usually do is to set achievable and realistic target for all employees including the managers,and it is not out of place to evaluate the outcome of their work from time to time.
 
The performance of a manager will be first way to evaluate the success of a manager , if the manager is not meeting the target set for the business, then he's actually a failed manager .
 
As a business owner who wants to see his business growing exponentially, evaluation is always your duty. Not only evaluation of the manager but all the staffs. By doing so you will know there competency and determine wether to keep working with them or assign fresh workers
 
Even though the manager should be accountable for how the workers under him perform and are motivated to complete their assigned tasks, analyzing the company's overall performance is often preferable to doing so simply for the management.
If their overall performance is strong, they simply need more training to increase their performance.

The manager must adjust the google data to see which businesses are growing right now and how the businesses are growing. Fortunately, by adhering to such principles, business can be developed.
