Is it $399 you're talking about which you sold your website for?? Waiting for three months before selling a site isn't bad, as long as you recovered all you spent for.

Yes, I meant to say I sold my website for $399. I paid $39 as success fee tom flippa and earlier I had paid $15 as listing fee. I did not have any other expenses apart from the domain name cost (which I paid $13)

Some people have managed to sell domain domain just in 1-2 days after the registered the domain. Things like this does not happen too often and are called exceptions. Normally, you will have to wait for years.
