Telegram is the new den of scammers. Among all the social media platforms, telegram is where we have a lot of scammers. Their admins are all the same as they work together to achieve the same goals. They will create a lot of fake payments just to lure you into their net.
And the surprising thing is that they said here that it is possible for them to create fake members up to 200,000, I mean how can that be possible ? How are they doing it to have so much members ?
Those members are bots , they are not real members and they have to cause issues in the long run. People just need to see how to get real users .
Wow, this is just the first time I'm hearing it and that means I could have fallen a victim to this scamming strategy, wow ,they can use all sorts of means just to get money from innocent people.
Some even create a fake group that has more than 200,000 members. I have fallen for such fake numbers before in the past, where I invested in a smart contract in a fake group thinking it was the right one.
Oh sorry about that ,it is a horrible experience, okay tell me more, how were you able to know that they were fake ? I think you should have also reported the group as scam for telegram to block it directly.
I knew it was fake when I invested in the smart contract and it turn out to be scam. You will need some other members to report a group with such members before it could be banned.
If you have a trusted WhatsApp group like crypto group, you could have also shared a link for them to report the group for it to get bann, I know even if you are reporting and they get banned, it could have been better this way.
When you have a group with such numbers of members, only one person cannot get it banned, you will need a lot of members to report the same issue to telegram before the group will be banned.
If you can ask your WhatsApp group members to help report a particular telegram groups of any dubious activities, I think that will be enough for them to be ban to stop their activities of scamming people.
They are two different platforms, you can ask people who are on different social media to help report a a group on another social media platform.
Most people who are using WhatsApp and also deal with cryptocurrency obviously will be on Twitter ,you can send the link of the group that scam you to them and when they click on the link ,it will redirect them to the group and they can report it.
It is not everyone that is interested in what happens on another social media platforms. If you have problems on telegram, you will need to deal with it yourself or with people who are on the same group on telegram.
This is serious, that means definitely there is no way we can help to stop the continuous scamming of people on telegram ? About from what I suggested don't you think there is any other way you can do it ?
The best way to avoid scams on telegram is to be mindful of our dealings on telegram with people we do not know anything about them or any investment that cannot be verified.
