Well, I once also taught my cousin, 5 years older than me. He did not pay me cash but bought me a lot of clothes. So, I was paid indirectly.

I am also not a really huge fan of tutoring someone. I have never considered it ever. There are many reasons for that. Teaching someone is a really big responsibility. You may never be able to fulfil this responsibility in case if you get students who are not willing to learn.
