Has a web host ever let you go?

Has there ever been a time where your web host let your site go from their services? Like they outright took you off of their service, leaving your site down until you find a new host. I have never had to deal with that myself, but I do wonder if anyone else here has though. What did you do? Get a new host? Did you give the old host a bad review?

This has never happened to me but I hear web host can take down your site for a couple of reasons like if you created a site that is against their policy (some hosts do not allow porn sites) or if your site received copyright infringement notice.
