Focus more on marketing or more on content

It's a given you need content, but if you make enough content on a daily basis, should you then put more focus on marketing? I figure if you have set up the content and have it all set up and ready to go, you could essentially focus your time on marketing more often, and hopefully extend your reach. What do you think? I think it relies on you making enough content to where you can have a catalog of content to post, so that you can schedule posts and then focus your time on other things like the marketing and promotion. Especially growing your social media and following there.

Definitely, you can confidently go into marketing more if you know you got good stuff. It's definitely something which raises morale I think. Anyway, though, building content is on-going thing, though, and you don't want to give up on it, just cause you started marketing heavily.
