Does your business have ads in local papers?

Does your business or site have ads in your local papers? Like the newspaper or a local zine or something. I have always wanted to promote in a paper or magazine. Has anyone promoted their business or site through a local newspaper or other type of publication?

I have never advertised in newspapers. Advertising in newspapers is very costly, however, the reach is very poor (that's because newspapers have a small audience, and not many people read newspapers these days). However, I have advertised in newspapers for something else (not related to business)
