Let's say, you make a post of long piece without a picture, a person who doesn't understand the message a post is carrying can easily make reference to the picture and get the message immediately. Pictures speaks a lot about something and that adds value to your post.

It's depends on the kind of post and the write up, really to me it's doesn't really matter because some might just post with pictures and up end up not enjoying the write up but some write up with no pictures ends up been awesome and interesting

But one thing is that, not because of adding pictures, you went and brought stuff that are off-topic, mean adding pics that does not add value or is not even related to what you are discussing.

That looks true a picture can make a post more interesting because sometime a post can just be a writeup but if you showcase that post to your audience some of them may not even click on it but if you attached a picture I beleive they will actually be attracted to it,its happen to me when I was doing affiliate marketing using my facebook timeline

Pictures add good extra dimensions to the initial only word meaning of what the pictures try to represent. Without pictures for me, the information wouldn't be fully understood..

I think they really do , pictures or visuals have a way of enticing and passing a message much more better than just just posting , when we where little kids we learnt faster with pictures , I guess it also applies when we are adults too

Yes it depends on the type of pictures but most people are always interesting in a write-up that presented a pictural explanation of what the writer is talking about because this will help in easier understanding and better imagination of how a situation will be. Personally I like writing that include pictures.
