Do you let your cat[s] go outside?

Do you let your cat go outside? I have had two cats throughout my life and each of them were inside cats. My first cat would sometimes go outside if I opened the door, but she would always stop so we can grab her. My current cat is afraid to go outside, but he is interested in the outside world and loves to sit up on the window and watch the birds.

I don't like the idea of letting my cat outside anyway.

I don't have any cats right now, but when I did I usually wouldn't let them out because I was afraid they would leave the house, basically because most of the cats they had were males and I know they usually go looking other cats

I don't restrict them from going outside, they do go enjoy the world and come whenever they like to. Although some days I do lock em down especially when they've committed something not worth doing.
