Do you establish a posting limit for new users?

Do you ever establish a posting limit for new users? I had an idea for an old forum of mine, but I never implemented it. I wanted to make it a rule that new users, depending on how many days they were a member, will not be able to post more than 10 posts a day. At least until the user has proved they can post safely without this limitation. I've always remembered wanting to do it, but never implemented something like it yet. I would like to on one of my future forums.

On some of my forums, I have a posting guideline where a user cannot post more than 10 posts in 24 hours. However, I never added any features that block the users from posting after making 10 posts. I never implemented these changes. I set a guideline of posting limit to stop spam but did not go far with implementing this rule.
