I know a lot of people who got banned from adsense because the regular visitors were trying to help the site owners. Adsense becomes suspicious of every clicks that does not come from searches.

Google can be very inconsiderate when it comes to banning Adsense account permanently. They don't care how much you have earned from it, once then flag your account multiple times, they are going to have it banned.
