Difference between stocks and shares

I know that shares are normal traded on the market, but people talk about stocks which seems that is just the conversion of the divided parts of the companies capital which is shares, so is there a difference between them?
It is often used to describe a slice of ownership of one or more companies. In contrast, in common parlance, "shares" has a more specific meaning: It often refers to the ownership of a particular company. ... Stocks, on the other hand, exclusively refer to corporate equities, securities traded on a stock exchange

It is regularly used to portray a cut of responsibility for or more organizations. Interestingly, in like manner speech, "shares" has a more explicit importance: It regularly alludes to the responsibility for specific organization.Stocks, then again, only allude to corporate values, protections exchanged on a stock trade.

The two in my own understanding are seen as the same.Stock is an equity of a particular company, and when an investor buys into the company he is alloted a part ownership of the company and that forms his share of that firm.

I'm not seeing any advantages from either. Regardless of the company you choose, both appear to have identical fees and commission rates.

The only thing that comes to mind is that any money you put into an ISA is tax-free. So whatever you earn in your stocks and shares ISA is tax-free? However, the disadvantage is that you are limited on how much money you can earn if you can only work part-time.

Their are some stock shares you van buy and make enormous profit in the future. I'm just looking up to buy football team shares and keep for long, expecting dividends to come from it.

Stock is the total quantity or amount of something or goods that is available for use or to be sold. The quantity of stock reduces and increases sometimes it doesn't remain fixed it is an asset a current asset while shares are some fraction of a stock or capital.

I would say that stock is like an online asset of a particular commodity which can be used to trade while shares refers to the nominal amount one uses to purchase an asset

Shares are a subpart of the market or stock, while a stock is an entire company offer on the Market. You can own a share but not a stock.

Well to the best of my understanding, stocks are tradeable assets that might not be necessarily owned by the company but shares give a form of ownership in the sense that you're lending your money to the company to use in running their operation costs as well.

Stock is like the full lump, while the shares are the components inside that lump,in the trading market, they are traded in unites known as shares, they are like capital when they want to discribe it i formal record.

Since shares are a product that is for sale and has a price tag on it, a stock market is just as likely to be a physical location as it is to be a virtual one. These highly regulated organizations are today dominated by electronic.

Even though a lot of people use stocks and shares interchangeably there is a slight difference between stocks and shares. While stocks and shares mean partial ownership of the company, shares are usually units of stocks.
