Most of the times when you think about investing on stocks you think about a long term investment. We are talking here about at least a couple months and up to a couple of years. But is it possible to make a lot of profit from stocks in a short time? I'm just curios because I've seen some people saying they made thousands of dollars in profit in just a couple weeks or months from stocks. Was that just luck or is such a thing possible?

Yes you can a huge amou6 of money trading stock in a matter of minutes, the way to do that is to trade with large fund.
Well, you have to learn a lot about trading stocks so that you won't lose your investment trading stock or buying stock whose price may fall or die.
But I you were referring to investing in a company stock, it is possible to make huge profit in a couple or months or year if you invest big and at the right time, but it is not likely.

I have seen many people who invested and stocked something for some weeks and then sold them, and generated a handsome income. It's a bit risky work to do because this is not allowed in some Countries and government can take action against you.

I haven't seen anyone making alot of money from stock in a couple of weeks... Just as you mentioned it is a long term investment that requires patience.... If you wish to engage in short term investment you can look towards Agriculture

Sure, you can. But it depends on the following factors: if the price of stocks was bought at a very low price and within a short time, the price appreciates and you sell it that time. also if the quantity of stock held until maturity is very high.

There are instances when an investor would hit the so called jackpot in stocks. He bought the stocks at a very low price and suddenly the price surged maybe for good reason that the company has been performing well. That can happen although very rare. Investing in stocks is a waiting game that you need patience. Our stocks with a bank has been sitting for more than 2 years already but we have no intention to sell even if we had already earned a good profit for now. We think that the price will continue to rise.
