Can you make a lot of money in a short time with stocks?

Making stock and earning is good business as most of the times when you think about investing on stocks you think about a long term investment. We are talking here about at least a couple months and up to a couple of years. But is it possible to make a lot of profit from stocks in a short time period?

I think it is not possible to make money in short time because there is a great volatility in stock market and it is Long time process to advertising. Many ups and downs come in this case. You will face many difficulties and problems in such trading. So i think that is not possible.

Yes, you can make a lot of money trading stocks on the short term basis. I know of people in my country who do buy huge amount of shares and when the price rise in two three weeks time, they do sell again and make their profits.

Earning huge profit depend upon two things either your experience and your luck. some people with great experience face losses while some people earn huge amount of money in limited time with their good luck.
At the initial stage it is not possible to earn only with your experience with the passage of time as you get experience you can earn huge money in limited time.
