Buisness card are still very much important as the e contact are still in Vogue, not everybody will have access to online access to your buisness especially those in the rural or remote areas.

This is a nice topic because I am seeing the changing of the guards in business contacts. But I think the business card will not be totally obsolete because of the tradition of handing the card to a new acquaintance in business. The Japanese has the most respectable manner in doing that with 2 hands holding the card and offering it to the person he had met for the first time. I think the business card will still be here but not as popular as before.

I don't think it hurts to have something offline that represents your business or what you do. Most times this is the solid way or means of communication in corporate meetings. Some professionals may not be willing to just give out their personal contacts at a first meet that's where business cards come in.

Yes business cards are very important. Business cards says alot about you and your business with just a glance.for example it can say what kind of business you are into,where your business is located,your contact details in case your store can't be located easily . Imagine you go for a business meeting,and you don't have much time to tell many people about your business. You can just do an introduction of your business,and give your business card to do the rest.
