Would sports be so interesting without spectators in stadiums?

In my opinion, it would not be so critical if, for example, all spectators watched sports only through TV screens and not in stadiums. Of course, I think football players would have behaved differently, but this is not a very big loss in my opinion, and the sport would not have suffered so much

Having fans in the stands increases the morale and motivation of the players and makes them play and perform better on the field, I think if there were no spectators the intensity of the game would drop a lot and the sport in general would not be as exciting.

Do you all think the crowd makes a difference to the opposing team? I mean, it can be tough to play with all the people booing your team and other nasty stuff. How well do you think most pro teams handle it? How do you handle it?

The straight forward answer is that some people will loose interest in it. Someone like me love it live, else to such sport, I will be like okay I have some tight schedule to catch up.
