Not only crypto investment, I think all your sources of income are wasted when you die if you haven't shared their login details with anyone.

If you do not have the password saved somewhere for your kids to have access to your crypto wallet, then it will be as good as gone because there's no way you could recover it.

If you are having your cryptocurrency stored in wallet like trust wallet or metamask then it is definitely gone because nobody is having your private keys.

Well, no one can predict actually what will happen to your crypto most especially when none of your family relations has access to your account better if they do.

Am guessing it would just be there useless. You can write your login details down somewhere then when it is time, you can pass it on to whoever you see fit.
That is why is really good to have someone in your family you can share your secret with so that if the person is no longer there, the person can take care of those things so it's really good to let one or two persons in your family to know your password in your wallet.

Your cryptocurrency is probably going to be in a safe storage when you are dead and the only thing that is going to matter is if you have given somebody the private keys.

This is a good question that we need to be asking ourselves , most importantly the people that has huge amount of crypto currency in their wallet , I always writes my crypto currency wallet password and the wallet address and my wife knows where I keep it just in case, but if you die without any of your family members knowing you have a crypto in your wallet , then your crypto dies with you,

The cryptocurrency that is lost could not be traced and recovered except if you have the necessary keys or the password that you could use to unlock the wallet. This is why it is very necessary for someone to have a particular place where you can store your password if such thing happens.

Actually no one can really predict what will happen to your bitcoin when you die most especially when none of your family members have access to your account. It may be hacked and control by someone.

I think it is worth having some sort of will or a backup for your crypto. Wallets can't get accessed without the passwords so if you did and no one has the means to access the wallet, no one will inherit the crypto.

If you do not have the password that will be used to recover the crypto funds, it is as good as gone because there's no way you could recover a lost fund in cryptocurrency basically because it is a decentralized system.

If no one have access to the login details of your cryptocurrency wallet and you die, everything you have in your portfolio is going to be there till eternity. They are going to gone from your family and I'm sure that the company wouldn't really touch it. It's just going to sit there like a lost treasure. This is why my brother is privy to all the information about my login details for almost all of my investments and my cryptocurrency wallet on Binance and Crypto.com.

Actually no one can really predict what will happen to your bitcoin when you die. Sometimes the account can be hacked by scammers or when your family members had access to your account they can used the money.

Like your real estate property and other possessions you own in your name, crypto is considered a probate asset. This means that it has to go through probate (the legal and court-driven process of distributing your estate) before it can be legally transferred to your beneficiaries after you die.

probably there are some huge amount of Bitcoin that have been lost because the owners of such have that. one thing about cryptocurrency is that you may not be able to give anyone your wallet address because of safety.

What happens to my crypto and bitcoin wallet when I die? I am guessing if you don't leave a will with the login details and 2fa credentials, the crypto will be lost forever unless you own the keys to the coins or tokens. What if they don't have access to the password or private keys?
The cryptocurrency coin will be there in the specific wallet in the event that neither a relative nor a friend has information on the password or the private key. This is one of the few instances where two-factor authentication is a "pain in the neck"

If you don't have access to the private keys , there is absolutely no way you can access the wallet . This is why it is very important to write down the keys and the password in a particular please for safety in case of unforeseen occurrences.

I have thought of this a lot, but I still feel unsafe about trusting anyone with my private keys. People have been known to harm others because of things that are worth less than that.
