I read different things. A lot of people say to do it if you are 35 with children and 45 without children. This is assuming you have a partner and earn the bulk of your income between the two of you. My wife and I don't have children but I am turning 36 next year. Is it too soon yet for me?

It's generally advisable to buy life insurance when you're as young as possible probably in your early 20's when you're about to start your life career. If you're younger and more healthy when buying life insurance, it's more cheaper. What you're to pay for life insurance when you're 25 years is lesser than what you're to pay when you're 40 years.

The earlier, the better. Starting life insurance at a younger age typically means lower premiums and better health, increasing the chances of qualifying for coverage. It's wise to consider life insurance as soon as you have dependents or financial obligations.

It depends on the kind of life insurance you want to buy. If you want to buy endowment life insurance, it will be very good to buy this insurance policy early in your life as you will have financial benefits that you can use yourself. AS far as whole life insurance is considered, you can by it when you have people depended on you (for instance kids and spouse)
