What's new

Since the Nigerian government banned crypto to naira withdrawal, what method are you using to withdraw your coins??

Since the ban people have been dependent on peer to peer for exchanging crypto back and forth. But i usually prefer dealing on an exchange where the exchange can act as the escrow. I have been scammed once on an escort group and it was done so professionally that i know people will keep falling for it
Thanks for talking about this binance peer to peer. It is the solution already and we do not have to bother about the government's strict regulations. @Sincerem this binance peer to peer option is the best and safest.

Those of us from Nigeria are experiencing lousy time when it comes to crypto to naira withdrawal into the local bank account. The country stopped such transaction taking place, and its hard now to withdraw the coins down to our naira bank account. Since the government doesn't want anything that has to do with naira and crypto transactions to place in the bank in order not to get the the fiat currency devalued.

Do you think their is any alternative left to withdraw our coins??
I think nigeria need to unban the cryptocurrency because they not know the important of bitcoin and cryptocurrency if nigeria government unban this then country go on a good way and the government become rich and wealthy.

Although I haven't made any withdrawal for now but on my previous withdrawal I normally uses luno, but I will make more enquiry before I go about to make my withdrawal
But I'm thinking of using Binance also if luno can't do it anymore
I think Binance should be the best option when it comes to withdrawal now, with the news I'm getting from widespread sources. Luno is very much delaying, I've requested cash out from Luno about 12 hours now, its still hanging and not delivered yet.

Sincerely, the news came to me as a great shock last week. Immediately I got the news, I tried to withdraw my money from Luno, but it was a sad experience as my money got hooked and I can't just withdraw it till now. Well, my own suggestion is that, anyone who can't leave the money on the platform should consider transferring it to Payeer and convert to USD before withdrawing. Or one can send the crypto coin to 1xbet to stake a geme and then withdraw the balance to your local account.

Are you sure this is not a damage control announcement just to keep hold of customers while they try finding alternative options. The announcement by the Central Bank of Nigeria was clear and I don't think any crypto site will dare to flaunt it at the moment.
Well, that is what I saw on the blog but I haven't tried it yet so can't really confirm if one can make withdrawals or not but I hope the announcement is true. Even at that, we can always get another way to make such transactions.

Honestly, I wish that there will always be a way to handle crypto transactions as this recent ban is affecting many traders at the moment. I don't even know why the government of Nigeria is making things difficult for those living in the country.

Does 1xbet accept Cryptocurrency payment option? If it accepts I'll be thrilled for it. Cos i have an account through 1xbet, i will just use the medium to cash out my funds at the meantime pending when the ongoing issues will be resolved.

You're too much, for sharing this information here. I went through 1xbet and i saw the option and i was very thrilled for adding Cryptocurrency payment method in its platform. That's the one I'll be using to cashing out my funds.

I actually did place a withdrawal few days ago with Luno, so I guess it has to do with buying rather than withdrawal. I also picked up an article from Luno which justified the claim. So our worries should be on how to fund our wallet

Since you made that withdrawal via Luno.com have your payment been settled?? Cos i made same withdrawal via Luno and up till now the payment haven't reflected my bank account. Its still stuck on their platform over 15 hours now.

I think its a bit strange to us because we are not expecting such news from the federal government, I don't know the reason Nigerian government banned crypto currency, although i have being using PayPal.

Immediately I noticed that the price of Bitcoin cash has move up higher I sold my Bitcoin cash and withdrew my money. To my greatest surprise, it's been over 12 hours and I am yet to get the alert of my withdrawal. I don't know if I can use my payoneer to receive payment.

It was not easy but we are doing peer to peer. A times we used to use another method which is PayPal. They were monitor exchange by Nigeria goldexchange, binance, luno accounts and the rest. It had been hectic but life must going on and internet will continue whether Nigeria government proscribed crypto account or not.somebody wanted to sent money using crypto to convert to naira I told the person my commercial bank account will be band.

It is a pity that Nigeria government refused to see development and growth of this generation. While other nations are looking for a way to developing their nations they thinking of a way to making people suffer more.

This depend on your cryptocurrency exchange wallet. Some crypto exchange wallets still allows withdrawals but they don’t accepts deposits. Luno app still allows withdrawals and it doesn’t look like they’ve banned withdrawals

Its good that paypal work for you dear. It saddens me a lot to be hearing about this hash pronouncement on Cryptocurrency users. Its a bizarre one from our country not reading through such unnecessary pronouncement.

I have done a few transactions between the last two days and its been all peer to peer which is the best form of transacting in crypto right now. Binance has provided a good platform where it functions as the escrow between parties in a transaction. Other platforms like Remitano is also a viable option.
I have withdrawn on luno and it was successful but I am scared of using luno again because of the injection. But I don't know how to peer to peer binance. And the other one that you mentioned. Can u shed more light on them?

Yes I received my payment

I have find alternative but I will not say it here because if I say it here, the enemy of progress are everywhere, they can report me to the authority. I can't withstand seen my account been deleted.
