Starting an online store is a good idea, however, whether you can make profits through your online store is a different matter. If you are not confident about generating sales, consider using online marketplaces for creating stores, in stead of building your own store.
 
Yeah, if you have a good idea's to seel things based on what you going to have. Or what are you going to offer that would make good money ;) Any ideas are good as long as you make money and not loss out the amount of money that you may have to spend. Worse is your idea ends up not making money.
 
It's a good idea to start an online store in ecommerce if you have something you want to sell through the online store. If there's nothing of market value to sell, there's no need to waste your resources starting up one. Amazon, ebay, Esty, Facebook marketplace, Instagram shop etc are options for you to use.
 
Yes of course, I believe that it's a very good idea to start an online store. When you have most of your potential customers online, it's going to serve you better to have a store online. They can easily get access to your business and buy whatever they want. If you can't use Shopify, there are so many other platforms to use.

Likewise, and you will know, many people open their online store or start selling products online without having a single customer, and then complain that this business is very difficult or that it will take a long time to see the results, I think it is better to start with a base clientele since that will facilitate your transition to profitability.

Exactly! They took the whole thing from the wrong direction. Before you start a business, you must be have an available market of customers to sell it. When you start advertising to them, it's going to be easy to reach them and convert them into sales.

Learn how to differentiate yourself from your competitors in this seemingly saturated market. Learn how to sell products people actually want. Learn how to make a site user-friendly. Learn how to please your customers. Of course, there're many things you can do to stand out from your competition.

In my country Since COVID19 online marketing or online store get a good acceptance among the society, and peoples enjoy shopping online without going anywhere, but now a days there is problem of online store around my location, trusting online shop gets very hard because scammers start stilling money and after you purchase goods online they ask you to send them half the money and after that they disappear, and that makes a huge impact on thus who are trusted and good online stores.
