A Ponzi scheme goes deeper than what we might think and as a common practice, I see all crypto to operate in a Ponzi structure one way or the other. If all BTC holders should sell off their holdings, the value will drop to its ground floor and that will cause a stir in the space. Crypto is a Ponzi and that's a more reason why you have to invest what you can afford to lose.

Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme and it can never be a Ponzi scheme. Despite the fact that the price of the coin isn't stable, investors really need to know how the system works because if they keep loosing money in the system they won't be convinced that the crypto currency exchange Business has come to stay.

Many critics, detractors and anti-Bitcoin out there think that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme for no apparent reason / argument. Ponzi schemes are a fraudulent mode that relies on money from new members to pay off previous members. We know Bitcoin has its advantages and disadvantages, but I personally don't agree if Bitcoin is said to be a ponzi scheme because no one can cheat Bitcoin transactions, even though Bitcoin holders or investors will be able to gain or lose, What do you think, do you agree if Bitcoin said to be a ponzi scheme, and what is your reason ?.
By ponzi scheme you mean invest 10 bucks to receive 20 bucks or what? or because of the huge profits one can make due to trading bitcoin at the right time? Well, to my opinion, bitcoin is never a ponzi scheme because it doesn't offer all the mouthwatering promises that ponzi scheme offers.

bitcoin a ponzi scheme! No way. The mode of structure and decentralisation is way different from a pizza scheme. If it's a ponzi scheme, Top tech companies currently investing huge amount of money 💰 on crypto coin 💱 especially bitcoin would have done critical analysis.

I don't think Bitcoin is a ponzi or scam scheme because millions of people are investing on Bitcoin everyday and it have made trust of millions of people all over the world.
Furthermore it is a decentralized cryptocurrency with no owner, so no one can scam with others.

The two terms are two different thing entirely from each other. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. A type of internet currency.
Ponzi scheme on the other hand in long and short, are schemes that rubs Peter to pay Paul kind of investment if you know what I mean.

Bitcoin is a commodity , bitcoin has market value .Ponzi scheme is neither a product nor , has it any market value.
The fact is that the way bitcoin works , one who doesn't under the cryptocurrency world will think otherwise.

I don't think trading in bitcoin is like a ponzi scheme. Ponzi scheme is designed in a way that they will use Peter money to pay Paul. But bitcoin involves trading in coins. Also, ponzi is designed in a way it will crash some day but bitcoins may not crash.

not really, because everyone has his own money there, a ponzi is take someone's money and give it to someone else without having a capital or budget for that, saying that will imply to fiat currencies as well, which is not true

I totally disagree with the assertion that bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. To start with, when the Bitcoin was launched in year 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto and the white paper released, there were a lot of speculations about it then, although being the first cryptocurrency ever, some said it was a scam, some said it's a Ponzi while others said government would never allow it to see the light of the day. Some people bought it then and started spending it lavishly, like buying a cup of coffee for about BTC10 while some people out of fear sold it after it gained small value. It was also in that spirit that some reasonable investors hodl it even till present day that Bitcoin hit $41,000. Now look at it's journey from about 50cent now to over $41,000. Isn't that amazing? Of course it is. Surprisingly, it's now a leger tender in some developed countries of the world today and a lot of government bodies are not patronizing Bitcoin, this fact alone is a major highlight for whosoever still doubting bitcoin. It's the future of currency. It's not late yet.

I dont understand you.you defined Ponzi schemes as a fraudulent mode that relies on money from new members to pay off previous members. obviously bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme and it is surprising to see people think this way although for such a currency that is not accepted, I guess their concerns re validated in that way.

Let me start by saying that Bitcoin is a currency not Ponzi, neither is it a scheme. Bitcoin is a crypto currency. in my country people buy dollar when the price depreciate and sell it when it appreciate, the same thing with Bitcoin too, if you were opportuned to invest on btc when the price was low, you would have made more than enough profit I tell you.

I do not think so, and I can not think so. It's just a propaganda, when some people don't know the bottom of something they will be forming a different worlds about it. We can see that any Ponzi scheme can not last for five to seven years before it will collapse, and Bitcoin has been existed for like 12years ago.

There can never be any correlation between cryptocurrencies and ponzi scheme, please erase that thought off your mind. Cryptocurrencies stores values that is trade able and you can also make profits on them unlike ponzi scheme that don't offer any tangible product but promises you free money within a short time frame.

I am still learning about Bitcoin but at this early I can say that it is far from Ponzi scheme. Take note that a Ponzi scheme is a recruitment and investment scheme where you can invest and then you have to recruit investors in order to be paid your promised high yield earnings. Besides, the Ponzi has a pyramidal structure that you will earn something from the earnings of your recruits. With Bitcoin I don't see any recruitment activity or requirement.
