It is better to look for another cryptocurency that has high potential and a good prospect and invest in them. Examples of such coin is Tron. Tron is gaining more popularity these days. I've only grown interest in bitcoin this pandemic. I spent years of not ignoring it but I regretted it. Imagine if I started before, I would have gotten a lot of profit by now. Investing in bitcoin is good, and I don't see it as a waist of time, currently bitcoin is 34k plus, remember few days ago it was 37, 38k, and I believe it will still return to that amount in few hours or days ahead.
