You can withdraw the digital currency back to the bank as a fiat currency. Everything it's made easy, but the CBDC they are talking about it's simply like a stable coin.
Anyway I'm waiting for them to lunch it officially so that I see what they really want us to do it. People may not actually use it as we think because there is usdt and that is what a lot of people will be interested to use.

I'm not even sure Nigerian CBN wants to take up such kind of idea of creating digital fiat currency up. Since the announcement breakout, they've not made mention of any further thing.

I think there was a news about the man saying that very soon there will be an e-wallet on the Play store for people to download. Ever since then we have been waiting for this thing.

It's no longer a new that they've once banned cryto trading there in India. Same thing happens here in Nigeria. Although developing countries are finding it difficult to excel with their local currency when chances are given for crytocurrency.

Most of these countries pronouncing band on the Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in general are simply afraid of effects of the Coin on their countries economy that's why

I believe that a majority of this news were just created to cause fear uncertainty and doubt in the mind of people so that is why you should always be ahead of the news if you are in crypto.

Here in the country we know how to talk very well, but we don't know how to implement the things we've said by showing work. It wouldn't be something that will happen anytime, they'll soon drop it and focus attention elsewhere.

Anyway all these things may not actually be of benefit to the masses ,most of what the politician in this country are doing is for their own selfish interests that is what I have just observed about them. They may even swept it under the carpet as you said.

Lol, they are just doing as if they are working to improve the country but they aren't. They are simply going backwards instead of moving forward. Bringing Twitter back when they caused what led to it's earlier ban its simply foolishness and that's a backward step for us.

Well. I have told you earlier that the Nigerian government will never in any way do anything to satisfy the masses they only do most of these things based on what they will get, they are the most selfish said of people have ever seen.

No wonder both my country and Nigeria are two of the world's poorest countries. Nigeria recently overtook India and ranked first and now both of them are heading in the same direction. Let's see how things will pan out

That's what most of the country is doing and it's very possible that India ban cryptocurrency. The number critics of cryptocurrency is the government.

This is the reason I feel that cryptocurrency wouldn't replace Fiat currency in the nearest future. First it was Nigeria, then China, now India.
Economies in the world are now awakened to the fact that there's a fight against their local currencies and wouldn't allow them win.

They do not have any much reasons for this ban, and I would rather they focus on how to make sure that kyc verification processes are made more strict instead.

To be frank, I don't even expect these frustrations from India. This is because India is among those countries that are expert when it comes to technology. But I believe that the government of India will one day believe in crypto.

You cannot compare India with Nigeria because in terms of technology they are really improving, you may find out that their military is among one of the most powerful military in the world and they are also countries that invented most of this drug we are taking.

In update to this , I don't think the government are still interested in banning cryptocurrency or anything like that ,so we might continue to see the development of cryptocurrency on a large note in the country , the minister gave that assurance some time ago

Only countries that know the advantages of crypto would know that banning of crypto cannot solve the insecurity except they find preventive measure from other countries that have known the secret.
