Many webmasters often focus a lot on specific kind of social media networks. They focus on popular social media networks in order to promote their website. However, I think that promoting your platform or website on emerging social media platforms could also be a great idea as well.

Emerging social media platforms do not have a lot of users. Therefore, it might not be possible to get traffic. Furthermore, in order to get traffic you need a lot of followers, and it is not possible to build a lot of followers on new platforms. For traffic, old social sites are better.

To get traffic from new or emerging social media platforms, create engaging content tailored to the platform's style. Utilize hashtags, collaborate with influencers, and participate in community trends to boost visibility and attract relevant audiences.

Targeting users from emerging platform is not bad at all. But to me, I consider this as something to be regarded as afterthought. Hitting interest and driving traffic from social media which has already earned its ground is worth more of it.

Emerging social media traffic should be something I would use to backup the traffic from big social platforms.
