I didn't upload my profile picture to any of the forum I'm working with. Since, uploading profile picture does not bring much money, I don't see the need it. It's not mandatory and not even recommended in many forum. It's a thing of choice.

Exactly, what some people upload as profile picture is not their real pictures. To me, uploading a picture to a forum is not important, though it is a good thing.
