How can remote working save economy?

Remote working is a newly developed concept and it became quite popular during the pandemic period. I Think that remote working can save economy in many ways. For example, remote working could reduce fuel consumption. It could also affect pollution and increase productivity as well. What do you think?

The economy will grow when there are activities that move money. When people go to work they spend money on fuel, they spend money on lunch and snacks, and things like that. When people work remotely, they will sit at home and there will be no economic activities.
