Cultural landmarks are the kind of landmarks that are considered heritage by many people. I am not sure if someone could purchase them, however, they can definitely have some impact on real estate market. For example, many people would like to purchase a house near such landmarks.

If the cultural landmark is in urban areas, it will certainly help real estate development. However, the cultural landmark in the remote areas, or in the rural areas will not aid real estate development. People buy properties mostly in urban areas and not in remote or even rural areas.
