Aside from contents in the form of texts, images, and videos, facebook pages help business lovers to expose their products and services to the public.
I myself have a little store that offers various products to the people within the community I belong, and with the aid of Facebook page I have created, my products have gained more customers; it is very nice to have Facebook page for our sites, blogs, and business, indeed.
 
These days it is very common for businesses to have a facebook page. Not just facebook, businesses also create pages and accounts on other social sites. They do this to improve online visibility. These days it does not matter whether your business is online or offline, what actually matters is whether you are marketing online or not. Facebook is also one of the best platforms to build your business brand
 
These days it's recommended that you have a social media account for all of your sites or businesses. Everyone uses Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. So having and account on all these platforms allows you to reach a wider audience as well.

This is hard to combine between all of them every day you may find someone opening regularly these social media not doing this daily work task as required for example. Because each one takes half an hour to one hour that is 3 hours every day.
 
I feel like it is a two sided thing and both positive for the business. First, there are really no reasons not to have a Facebook Page at this point in time as it is by far the largest social media platform and is simple to setup and manage. Which offers easy/free promotion and engagement with potential customers.

The second reason is due to the simple fact that once your business gets going, it is going to be on social media. So you can either lead the way and help guide user interactions yourself or you can avoid it and let the community make it up as they go. Personally, I like to be in the driver seat when it comes to my business especially when it comes to the Internet where small details can rapidly turn into viral posts.
 
Having social media account for your businesses is a decent way to grow and make awareness. Also it can drive decent amount of traffic to your product and services. There are some users who are very relevant and spend 80% of their online journey on social so your social presence is gonna be a big catch to people of such.
