Do you prefere dividends or potential value increasing stocks and why?

believe I prefer dividends, which are paid out on a monthly basis. However, the amount you receive depends on the type of stock you purchased; some stocks pay out high dividends, while others pay out very little; however, some websites may offer you dividend payments weekly, depending on the situation; therefore, the amount you receive is determined by your platform.

I believe in compounding profits, therefore, instead of dividend stocks, I like to invest in potential value increasing stocks. Even when I invest in dividend stocks, I always try to receive stocks instead of cash.
