Well in my opinion, I don't think covid had any effect on real estate - I'll say it only affected the volume of property turnover. But humans still had to pay rent whether they were locked down or not.
In fact, I know of some house owners who even increased their house rent during this period.

When did pandemic started and government started enforcing lockdown a lot of people were forced to sell their real estate properties because they did not know when the lock down was going to be lifted. That was a good opportunity to acquire cheap real estate properties.

Covid 19 affected a lot of sectors, the lock down really put on halt many businesses with real estate business inclusive, many agents could not get any clients through out the lock down, no movement and this really affected real estate business.

Well the effect of the Corona virus was on everything and not really on real estate , but I believe during that time real estate property will be sold cheap since a lot of people were in needs of money to survive.
