I have a bunch of old PCs lying around my house after an old job, and they're essentially being used for nothing at this time. I figure I could set them all up to mine bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I could probably buy a cheap gpu to help speed it up a bit. Is something like this possible? How much would I stand to make if I had, say 10 PCs mining?
Yeah, sure you can proceed with mining, however your device's processor capability will determine the hash rate. It must be pointed out
quite clearly that it is best to mine a coin with high circulation such as Shiba Inu rather than Bitcoin

You can not use old work computer to mine, it will not work. Mining needs a very strong system to function effectively as it consumes a lot of energy and also consumes power.

If that is what you are using you still may not be able to have access to tangible profit mi mining cryptocurrency. There are special machines and tools that are specially dedicated for mining . Those are the machines that should be acquired.

Actually, you can really MINE with old computers. But in my perspective, I think that it is not reasonable to take such a practice if you really wanna be successful. You ought to get yourself a modern PC.

It is a great idea, if you are not using those computers then it is better to use it for mining, I watched some videos about mining crypto on computer, many people are using it.

I will highly advise that you should research in depth about the requirements needed for you to mine before using my laptop. This is because you might end up wasting your money.

I think that it would be incredibly hard for someone to use old computers to mine coins as it may not produced the right kind of results. Even coins with low difficulty levels would be hard to mine on an old PC.

Mining of cryptocurrency like bitcoin cannot be done with a computer . Probably there are other cryptocurrency that can be mine without the need of much computing power like Bitcoin.
Bitcoins can be mined industrially which obviously requires a lot of electricity.
