It's probably unchanged. And this really begs that we get more specific.
Some science as been proven true. Other hypotheses often presented as fact were later disproven.

I believe in science but to a certain extent, you can't totally believe in it as if it were a religion because it hasn't proven many things yet and many of its theories are far from true, you have to be critical also when we talk about science.

Science can be dangerous. For instance, the move against the disabled in Germany around World War II was an application of what seen as "trendy science" at the time. Well, what I'm saying is we need to balance out science with morality.
to me it is much more because in the past it was something very incredible and it was even difficult for people to believe in it, but now there is little that can surprise a person because they know the unlimited possibilities of science.
