You might need an in-person job before making good money online

If you're just starting out working online, you should know, it's not going to be easy to make a living right away. Which is why it's a good idea to actually find an in-person job if you can, because finding that will help you further your chances working online. I would do online work as a side hustle, but once you find a niche you can tap into, that's when you can expect to find actual work online. It isn't a fast turnaround, you may need to find other work to hold you over until you can find stable work online.

Online jobs are often incredibly hard to get because you might need good ratings. For instance, I'd like to online tutor and I have passed the math tests, but who knows how long it would take to get ratings up to par.

If you are equipped with professional skills, there is no harm in looking for online jobs instead of searching offline. It is also not easy to get hired for in-person job. In fact in-person jobs are very competitive. Well, online jobs are also not easy but you at least have an option to create your own project and monetize it.
