Xbox Gamepass to increase in price, plus new tier plan announced

Xbox GamePass has increased in price. From its initial $14.99 per month price tag, it has since gone up to $16.99. But that's not all, as Xbox Live Gold is now being changed to Xbox Game Pass Core, which gets you 25 games or so a month, instead of their usual 2-4 games a month. This plan will cost $9.99. Their other plans seem to be staying at the same price, but I hear they are also removing the family plan. What do you think of these changes?

Not all Xbox gamers are going to like this new development. I understand there's inflation and all but they need to take time before implementing all these changes. I don't think it's right for them to remove the family plan. What are they hoping to achieve by doing that, force the hands of their subscribers?
