Would you get friends and family to invest in your businesses stock?

If you ever have a company and the opportunity to make it public, and set up stocks and shares around it, would you ever let friends and family buy stocks and shares of your company? I think I would, as the more family that own a stake, the better imo. But I know once you go public, anyone can buy in.

My businesses are not publicly traded companies, my businesses are not even registered under company act, therefore, they are not even private limited companies. If I had private limited companyl, I would surely invite my nfriebnds and family to invest in my business.

If I had the opportunity to attract investors, I would do it, but definitely not thanks to my relatives. After all, everyone knows that it is impossible to have any financial relations with your relatives and friends, because in any case it will turn into a disaster.
