What is the Difference between Real Estate and Property?

The real estate is a business that deals with the purchase or construction of homes, premises, buildings and land, in order to sell or rent them. Property is the acquisition of a home, premises or land for personal purposes, which are not for negotiation since it is something familiar.

I think you should be the one to answer your philosophical question because it doesn't make sense at all whether we call it real estate or real estate property. Anyway, my understanding of real estate or real property is the land or the structure on the land that is owned by someone. When there is no owner (the government owns it) then it is not a property. You only call it property when there is a title that is named to someone.

Well I can say they are both synonymous words. Real estate being venturing into landed property. So I will say calling them the same thing is not totally wrong.
