Are there any companies out there trying to start their own cryptocurrency? I ask because I remember Pepsi released their pepcoin currency, though I don't think it's actual cryptocurrency, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, if there are any companies starting their own cryptocurrency, do you know of any currently trying that?

There are many companies that have created their cryptocurrency, but most of them are less well known or popular among cryptocurrency users. Exchange companies like Binance have also created Binance Coin crypto, Coinbase exchange has also created USDC, Facebook has created Libra (Novi) etc. Actually, you don't have to be a company, you can also create cryptocurrency by building your own blockchain, or create tokens by riding an existing blockchain such as Eth, Tron, etc.

Wow! Is it that easy to start a crypto currency and profit in it? I usually think a strong research and investment would be needed to create crypto currencies. Well, I'm just hearing the pepcoin for the first time. Would love to see it happen though.

The world of Crypto is growing day by day and there are many companies which are willing to launch their own cryptocurrencies. For example, Facebook is going to launch its cryptocurrency named as a Libra in the coming future.

I don't think one could start listing those companies because it would be almost impossible. Every single day, a lot of new digital currencies keep entering the market. And most of them are from companies that are already existing with their owners choosing to diversify. So giving you a list of companies with such plans is basically impractical.

I think starting up your own cryptocurrency is the next business plan idea for the riches now, because I notice most of the company owns by well known people in our organization is starting their own cryptocurrency. So am waiting for the richest man in my country to come out with his own as well. May God help us all.

It is not just waking up and starting your own cryptocurrency but you must understand that all crypto rules and guideline is government-regulated and if the government doesn't give a particular organisation to start a certain cryptocurrency or if a particular organisation doesn't meet the requirements they will not be able to start a new crypto-currency.

I know some company are trying to start there own crypto currency but I don't know how easy that is going to be .I'm sure it will take a lot of work to start a crypto currency. Before they start one ,I believe they should have cast knowledge about crypto currency

We have the likes of PIcoin, an innovation by a particular university in US, so also we have lots of companies like that who are just starting their cryptocurrency. Recently I heard of China trying to launch their coin as well. This will be the first country in the world that will embrace fully the use of digital currency.

It's not easy to know companies or organizations that are planning to launch their own cryptocurrency unless you are part of the development team or planning committee. This is because these things are done with so much secrecy and in most cases we only get to know when the company wants us to know about it, or when there's a leak of information.

Majority of them are doing this because they think is one of the modern way of raising capital for their businesses. It's like a new company is going to for initial capital offer. they are trying to create cryptocurrency just to raise more cash for their business and design a way of paying back so the prophecy in the customer's made from the appreciation of the cryptocurrency.

Lool.., As long you are human u can create yours no rules or governmental regulation is being involved as for now so its a free world anybody can create it own crypto currency not to talk of a company like Pepsi.. Probably people will start buying Pepsi through there coin

From what I can see it seems that many celebrities and companies are actually trying to create their own cryptocurrency as a way to profit from the recent increases in cryptocurrency investments. However it is quite hard to manage your cryptocurrency and many of them don't have the proper technical knowledge in order to ensure the prosperity of the coin.
