What are the pros and cons of Figma?

I'm trying to help a friend figure out which free graphic software to use and someone mentioned Figma. Have you used it before (the free version)? If so, what are some of the pros and cons?

From my experience there are not many cons of Figma and the free version is enough to get you started and there are many free plugins available. But if you are working in a team you should consider the paid version.
