What are some factors that predict the future of a company's stocks?

Shares or stock of a company refer to units of investment. It is a "share" of investment of each and every individual. This is why it is called a "share", as far as I think. Having said that, when it comes to a company's performance in the stock market, what are some of the major factors that may predict the value of a share of a company in the future?

The business model and the performance on the market (sales and revenue) determine the future of a company in the stock market. Businesses with sustainable business models and businesses that are generating a lot of sales tend to do better in the stock market.
