The passing of Thomas McBrien, a World War Two veteran from County Fermanagh who was awarded the Burma Star medal, is a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices made by those who served their countries during that time. It's touching to hear about Mr. McBrien's humility and his dedication to his community, and it's wonderful that his photographs will preserve his legacy for future generations.

It is quite sad that these veterans are remembered only after their passing away. I am sure that there will be a very few such veterans left now and we should celebrate them during their lifetime itself.
