I am curious, is it possible to own a landmark? Maybe you own a popular hotel that lasted for over a hundred years, and is considered a mainstay of that location. Or maybe it's a house where a president lived, but is now owned by someone close to the family. I want to know, is it possible to own a landmark, and if so, could you sell it? And if it qualifies as a landmark, are you able to destroy it if you want? Or would it be protected?

As long as you own the property, it is your wish and will to do anything with it. But if it has been taken over by the government or declared by government as a heritage building then it is totally a different story.
