Younare right that its no longer news that people are using crypto currency as a means of payment throughout the world , I have seen some individual owing an office where they exchange crypto currency with cash.It is no longer a news that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is used to pay for goods and services around the world. You have point but the positive side outweighs the negative side of paying rent in cryptocurrency. What if the value go up? Even though cryptocurrency is volatile and unpredictable with time the value will always rise.Even though bitcoins and other coins are being used for goods and serviced around the world, I don't think it is advisable to allow tenants pay rents using crypto coins. This is because crypto coins are volatile in nature. For instance, a tenant can just make payment to the landlord and before the landlord could sell or leave it in the wallet, then the value of the said coin has gone down. This becomes a problem. Though it can go up again. What if the Landlord needs money at the moment and the value of the said coins goes down drastically.
I can confidently say that one can pay his or her rent from crypto currency because rent is usually paid yearly/annually. At least within these time one who is passionate and dedicated to making money via this means can definite
Don't generalise payment of rent to be the same everywhere as it is in your country,in some places like in Europe and America rent is paid monthly and when converted to naira is on the high side
