That is great to know. I guess that the Nigerians have learnt the peofit in investing in bitcoin and that is why so many of them trade it. The high unemployment there also motivates people to look for other methods of earning a living and bitcoin has presented a good opportunity.

Nigerla, an African countries is the next to the US in terms of bitcoin market from the statistics obtained recently from Qz.com. US has $3.7 billion plus market volume while Nigerla has $566 million plus trade volume. It is also reported that the number of Bitcoin wallets being created daily in Nigeria is on the high side. Nigerians see bitcoin Investment as alternatives to curb unemployment.
This is an incredible development to see that Nigeria has been doing so well in terms of its cryptocurrency usage and its adoption as well. With so much of Bitcoin wallets that have been generated and transactions that are happening daily from this country what is the government's stance that they have taken against cryptocurrency? Is the government in Nigeria for cryptocurrency or are they against it?

Yes, you're right and I think I've seen something like this on one Cryptocurrency Website too, Paxful to be precise. Nigeria and Nigerians seem to be turning up for Crypto trading and investment after having witnessed how bitcoin experienced great increase for the past years. It's a good thing, though.

Yes, so true and it is the best means of payment, as many other means does not favour us. It has also created a gap between investors and financial institutions, making business transactions easier and better with hitches.

This is a good news because most Nigerians trooping into the market Young ones, automatically this will reduce the rate of unemployment in the country and I hope most of them will be able to create job opportunities for others who are not in this market. I hope we get more young newbies coming in this year

I am not suprised because most of the investors I know are from Nigeria . Many Nigerians even use crypto currency as their preferred means of payment . This really boost the bitcoin market. My concern is about the recent downfall of the mighty Bitcoin

Bitcoin trade had its highest spike of 30% this year during the national lockdown in the country and the highest volume traded during the peak of the pandemic. Between January and September, Paxful reported a 137% increase in new registrations in Nigeria. During the police brutality protests in Nigeria in October, bitcoin saved the day when the government shut out protesters from using local payment platforms for collecting donations to support it.

I'm happy you quoted the source of your claim. I was skeptical at first until I saw the statistics and source. Truth is many Nigerians are entering the crypto space (not just bitcoin). I know a couple of guys (Nigerians) who are mainly living (working, sleeping, eating, driving) in cryptocurrency. There are many Nigerian crypto merchants and exchanges out there and are doing fine. The good thing is that the awareness is increasing on a daily basis. It's surprising to see persons i never thought could embrace an idea like crypto accepting it. Great one from Nigerians.

Yes, it's true and am not surprise, if it should continue this way we may also be at the top. Because it currency and growth of the business is very high.
Also the business is a very safe and profitable business, it's all about buying and selling of coins.
It's now the hot trending online business,

Well it’s of no surprise to me cause a lot of Nigerians mostly youth have endorsed bitcoin as their way of saving money in the bank and that’s because the banks deducts monthly tax on my money saved.

it is not surprising that Nigeria is second largest cryptocurrency market. The naira, official currency of Nigeria is decreasing in value everyday compared to dollar. Many Nigerians have embraced cryptocurrency as an alternative to fiat currency.

Well I am not surprised at all. What do you expect from a country whose unemployment rate is increasing rapidly by the day and the government and private sectors fold their arms to watch. Nigerians had to rise up and create their own source of lively hood to be Able to feed and pay other bills. Cryto currency trading and investment came at the right time, those that caught the early worm are millionaires now. Crytocurrency buying and selling is the in-thing now so if you are not a part of it my brothers and sisters, then save some money and join the trend because it has come to stay. So join the trend now or you might regret later on. I have personaly joined and hope to smile very soon, I started small but I am optimistic that it will grow beyond my wildest imagination.
