Methods of Traffic Monetization

Having so many webmasters in the forum, I would love to know how you get your websites to monetize their traffic through advertising, affiliate marketing, and other methods? Also, what ethics come into picture when you do so?

At the moment with the two forums I am running and also with the blog that I have as well, I am monetizing them through Adsense for both forums and also using A-ads as well on my blog and my general chat forum.

As much as it is slow earning at the moment, it is earning something and I know with work it will soon start to increase.

I also offer user upgrades on my forums with incentives for each to allow people to purchase VIP upgrades and get incentives to help support the forum as well.

Whether I launch a blog, a community or an online store, I only think about making money. Once I have a substantial amount of content on my blog and forum I apply for AdSense. I use other ad networks only after getting approved by AdSense. As for my online store is considered, I do not run ads, I mainly focus on selling products. I would also like to try the membership option on my forums some day.

Most probably people know are You can display ads on your site, like those from Google AdSense, and earn money when people click on them. Another ways are is affiliate marketing, where you promote products and get a commission for sales. You can also create and sell your own products or offer premium content for a subscription fee.Having your social media accounts for gaining traffic to your website is the best way for me which I prefer.
