Actually I have kept any coin for too long because I do most often engage in trading and transactions which makes nt to keep coin for sometime. Though I invested in one coin for almost a month now hoping for the next 2 to 3 month.
The longest that I have kept him going in my portfolio was actually more than two years. It was not intentional but I kept some ethereum in my compass wallet and then it grew significantly before I even discovered.
