Longest period you kept a coin during trading

I have put coin into crypto currency some time ago and so far i did not withdraw. Since then i am facing bit loss as currency is going down . So i will withdraw that coin later as i invested in long term investment. So there no force at back to withdraw it so far. So i will sell this at it's higher price.

The period l do keep coins during trading depends mainly on the market price for that coin. The longest period so far l have kept a coin in my trading options is now like eight months and I was able to make around 250% profit on the coin.
 
I have been keeping my litecoin from 7 months and sold it last month when it was at its peak. Now i am trying to keep one more litecoin for another year because i think it will definitely go more high .
 
I think the term trading and investment should be elaborated efficiently with this question. I don't think any trader can keep a coin more than a day so far the coin is been traded. However, the owner can only keep the coin more than a day if he or she is investing in the coin. So for me the period I have left my coin while investing is 3 months.

Some of my friends that are into trading mostly says that holding it longer while you can if you want more profit. Theres a higher chance of profit compared to loss
 
I haven't invest in coin but if I have the opportunity to invest in coin I will prefer to make a determined objective of investing for a long period of time because I've studied the that whatever happens to the coin, you will earn at the end.

The Longest period that I kept a coin while I was trying to still trade was around two weeks. After this time I actually made a loss in the coin. After a week of purchasing the coin there was a significant drop in the price however I believe that if I continue to hold the coin that the value would recover however this was not the case. Therefore, at the moment the only ones that I choose to hold for a long period of time are the reliable ones.
 
The longest one took 6 weeks to close.

I have open an order and price reversed in the wrong direction. It did not hit my SL but I have left it open because I wanted to hit my SL or TP. I did not wanted to closed it earlier then SL.

But it took 6 weeks until it reversed back and in 2 days it recovered and hit TP level.

Some traders would not wait that long and they would close that order with loss. But you need to have patience in trading.
 
when i was an active holder of a coin i had held it for over ten months until it appreciated over 500% in profits. recently i have actively had a trade ran on futures for uptona week . the trade initially went against me but i sat the long the game and has it retrace to positive for me.
 
I don't have much Ideas on how much to keep but am planning to buy Bitcoin this year for fitty thausand naira and keep it for like two years wallet is the sure business now

Two years. A proverb says, a patience dog eat the biggest bone. Crypto currency is about patience. If you are not patience enough, you will lose a lot of money. So I will advise to wait for two years or more
 
Actually my longest time could be some people Shortest time which is 30minute a withdrawal of BCHfrim my trust Wallet. But a friend told me it took him 2 days to withdraw a very certain coin to his skrill account.
 
I hardly keep any other coin except for bitcoin and LTC. The highest it takes me to keep any coin apart from those two is a couple of days, a week at the most.
 
I have some WIN, LTC that have been in my portfolio for more than 2 months already and I am thinking of holding for a more lengthy period. I believe i will reap big.
 
I received some bitcoin tokens last year and I haven't touched it, I am not hoping to, I am hoping that the price of crypto currency especially bitcoin wi rise very well so I can buy a car, lol.
 
There was once i bought some coins when the demand was low,so i just left the coin and when the demand was high i sold the coins.
 
Talking an the longest periods that I have left my coin in the market to appreciate or depreciate is like asking me exactly when I started trading because I have never had a thought to withdraw all my coin from the system despite the rise and fall most times I just stay put.
 
That was about a week. I bought a particular coin, I don't want to mention the name here. I was hoping for it to rise within the next three days but it couldn't so I kept it for a week and after then I took my profit.
 
Unfortunately I am yet to hold a coin for a considerable amount of time but I intend to and soon too, the longest I've held was days not even a month so I intend to do better

From last year till now you should have made enough profits. I don't think what you did was right since you didn't take out your Profits.
