Is there any law regarding business monopoly in your country?

Monopoly is a process which allows certain kinds of businesses to gain advantage in the market. A monopolistic market is quite harsh for many small businesses. This means that there is very less competition and this could be bad for consumers as well. So, are there any laws related to monopoly in order to reduce bad effects of monopoly?

We are a free market. The government does not make any law that restricts the private sector. However, sometimes government allows certain businesses to have a monopoly. That is usually when the business model is very new for a country and the government believes it boosts the economy.
